A sought-after speaker and educator, Evin presents on topics including generational diversity, implicit bias, ethical decision-making, social media best practices, and inclusive leadership. He has spoken at universities, bar associations, nonprofits, and statewide conferences—moderating TEDxDurham and contributing to events such as the NC Indian Unity Conference and NCBA annual meetings. He is also deeply trained in trauma-informed practices, anti-racism, and unconscious bias, drawing from programs led by the Racial Equity Institute, Rutgers GSE, Berrett-Koehler, and others.
Beyond law and public policy, Evin is a thoughtful storyteller and creative. His writing—spanning articles, reflections, and a self-published book—amplifies underrepresented voices and brings insight to pressing issues. He is also a dedicated photographer, capturing the world through a lens that mirrors his grounded yet visionary perspective.
Evin earned his JD from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law and a BS in Applied Criminology from NC State University. He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States. With certifications in leadership, process improvement, ethical tech, and trauma literacy, Evin combines legal acumen with empathy and foresight.
Whether advising on high-stakes strategy, shaping inclusive policy, mentoring future leaders, or capturing life behind the camera, Evin helps others move from intention to action. He welcomes opportunities to collaborate, consult, speak, or simply connect with those committed to meaningful progress.
